MFSC Scholarship Application Process
Scholarship applications are due by 06/30/2023. The Scholarship Committee with approval from the full Board of Directors will award four (4) scholarships which will cover the $100 Registration fee and provide two nights of accommodations at Boyne Mountain.
Selections will be made by a selection committee and their decision is final. Criteria for selection will be based upon all of the following:
- Priority is given to to applicants whose local office is unable to send any staff to the conference.
- The completeness and content of the application
- Whether or not the applicant has received a scholarship in the past
- Applicants must have approval from their supervisor.
Scholarship recipients must agree to volunteer either at the Silent Auction tables or the Registration tables for two shifts (approximately 4 hours total). Volunteer sign-ups will be provided to scholarship winners with the scholarship offer notification.
NOTE: Late applications and those submitted incomplete will be deemed disqualified. Successful applicants are expected to attend the entire conference and stay onsite at event location. Condominium accommodations have been secured for scholarship recipients.
